How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost in Vancouver?

Filler pricing is usually quoted per syringe, which sounds simple until you realize the real question is how many syringes your goals actually need — and that depends entirely on your anatomy, not a menu price.

What Vancouver-area fillers typically cost

Across Vancouver clinics, a single syringe of hyaluronic acid filler (Juvederm, Restylane, and similar products) generally runs $500 to $1,200, with most reputable clinics landing around $600 to $1,000 per syringe. Lip-specific products often sit toward the higher end of that range, around $700–$1,000.

Why "per syringe" doesn't tell you the total

Most people need more than one syringe to meet their goal, and the honest number depends entirely on the area and the starting anatomy:

  • Lips are often achievable with a single syringe for subtle enhancement, though fuller results may need more.
  • Cheeks typically need 1–2 syringes per side to restore meaningful volume.
  • Jawline definition often requires 2 or more syringes depending on how much contour change is wanted.
  • Tear troughs generally need less product, but demand the most precision — this is not an area to price-shop.

Results are visible immediately and fully settle within about two weeks, and typically last 6–18 months depending on the product and area — lips tend to need touch-ups sooner (around 6–9 months) than cheeks or jawline (up to 18 months).

What actually affects the price

  • Who's injecting. A surgically-trained facial plastic surgeon brings a three-dimensional understanding of anatomy that shapes how much product is actually needed — and where. That expertise is part of what you're paying for, not a markup on the syringe itself.
  • The product. Not all hyaluronic acid fillers are equal — Juvederm, Restylane, and Teosyal each have different formulations suited to different areas.
  • Reversibility. Because HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed, a properly placed treatment is an adjustable investment, not a fixed one.

The best filler result is one nobody notices

The goal of a good filler treatment isn't visible change — it's looking rested and like yourself, just refreshed. At Monarch MD, every filler treatment is personally performed by Dr. Akbari, whose surgical background informs precise, conservative placement rather than maximizing product used.
