Upper blepharoplasty may be covered by B.C MSP if your excess upper lid skin results in restriction of your visual fields.
If you suspect this is the case for you, please have your family doctor fax us a referral to (604) 559-6543. Dr. Akbari will determine if you may be eligible for B.C. MSP coverage for your Upper Eyelid and will arrange formal visual filed testing by a board-certified ophthalmologist.
You will be monitored for a few hours after your surgery. You will go home the same day with detailed post-operative instructions.
Common aftereffects of Upper Blepharoplasty include:
